What to have for lunch, when you really fancy something warm and tasty, but don’t have much time. Try this hybrid of pizzery cheese on toast.
I used a packet of Warburtons Square Wraps, but any make or shape of wrap will do
I then used a simple passata from Sainsbury’s which I spread over the wrap, nearly to the edges but not quite, which were then topped with a combination of Cheddar and Mozzarella, again, not quite to the edges. You can add some onions, ham, anchovies, in fact any topping you would find on your favourite pizza. But for this recipe, I needed something quick and vegetarian!
This was then placed under a hot grill until the cheese had melted, and browned slightly. A very tasty pizza treat for some guests which had turned up unexpectedly!
Delicious served with a simple salad of lettuce, shredded red cabbage, grated carrot and sweet cherry tomatoes.
