I dont think I can contain my excitement………… It is like it is a never ending Christmas Eve ………………..
I have watched this series of the Great British Bake Off with extreme interest, making notes of the technical challenges, looking at this years contestants signature bakes closely and looking through many recipe sites looking for ideas I can adapt, create, and bake.
If you have followed my blog from the beginning, you will see that back in January, I was filled with Procrastination & Fear, as I held the entry form for this years GBBO in my hot little hand, and looked at ways I could avoid from posting my entry. I am glad in a way I did not enter this year, if I had been one of the lucky ones chosen to bake in the tent, I would have most certainly come out in one of the first, if not the first episode!!
The level of bakers this year is amazing, from week one, I wondered if they actually were amateur bakers! Each week I have held my breath with them as they cook, bake, make errors, make amazing cakes, breads, buns, and delights!
My favourite made her way through to the final, as well as a contestant that has grown on my over the past few weeks! I will, along with most of the other food bloggers in the UK be glued to the screen tomorrow.
This year, I really will download the form, fill it in and post it off. You never know, I may be lucky and be in the hallowed tent come next series.
Happy Baking!
