This week I was treated to a wonderful surprise from a dear friend.  A Jar of Marmalade.

It was her first attempt at making marmalade, inspired by a gift she received for Christmas, I love the fact she decided to give me a jar.  I have to say, it had a lovely consistency, not too thin, not too thick, a great distribution of peel throughout the jar, and the flavour was just how I like it.  That bitter orange hit from the peel, followed by the sweetness of the sugar.
